Exhibit Marketer of the Year (EMY) Awards

Debuting in 2012, the Exhibit Manager of the Year (EMY) award was created to honor those unsung heroes who make a difference in their organizations through effective exhibit management. Demonstrating value, marketplace engagement and multi-channel initiatives are among the criteria that will be subjectively judged by an independent panel of industry notables. In 2014, the name of the award was changed to Exhibit Marketer of the Year to allow for a more inclusive field of event professionals. Nominations for 2016 are now open.

Keith Tomaszewski – Johnson Controls
Keith (pictured here with VP Strategic Sales April Hurley) has served as Exhibit Manager for Johnson Controls since 1997. In this role, Keith manages more than 250 local, regional and national exhibits. Known as a “pro’s pro”, Keith possesses the qualities all outstanding exhibit marketers need including grace, patience and outstanding customer service skills. His designated charity receiving a $500 check is the Reverb Youth Group at Spooner Wesleyan Church to help in their efforts with Project Freedom, an anti-trafficking program from World Hope International.

Jessica Gauvin – Sig Sauer
Jessica (pictured here with Creative Director Nicole O’Leary) is the Trade Show and Event Manager for New Hampshire-based weapons systems provided SIG SAUER. This CTSM candidate is passionate about marketing strategy, exhibit design and creative cost-effective solutions. In addition to a custom EMY crystal trophy, a check for $500 has been sent in her name to The Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence, MA.

Michael D. Lynne – L-3 Communications
Michael (pictured here with April Hurley) is the Director of Exhibitions, Events & Protocol for Aerospace Systems Division for L-3 Communications. His nomination included accolades for implementing cost-savings strategy and executing memorable experiences for his clients. Michael is also part of a small group of individuals to receive 6 industry-specific certifications including CEM, CMP and CTSM just to name a few. His designated charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in honor of his grandson, Ian Carpenter.

Robin Herman - Plum Inc.
Robin was nominated by her Plum Organics colleagues, who described the sound strategies and creative tactics she employs for her company at various shows. Robin constantly capitalizes on new opportunities to market her brand through exhibits and events to help Plum Organics reach new targets and fortify relationships within the industry. Her designated charity receiving a $500 check in her name is Children Mending Hearts, an organization assisting disadvantaged youth through educational and arts programs.

Glenda Brungardt – HP Imaging and Printing Group
Glenda is the Tradeshow/Event Marketing Program Manager for HP Imaging and Printing Group and has been involved in the event industry  for over 23 years. Known for her ability to share her experiences and willingness to teach whoever asks for advice or direction, Glenda was instrumental in implementing green practices at all levels of her exhibit properties and has been showcased in Exhibitor Magazine on how to automate show measurement.  In addition to a custom EMY crystal trophy, a check for $500 has been sent in her name to her designated charity, The Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department.
