When the pandemic struck, like so many others, The Expo Group looked to help. We discovered that right up the street from our Headquarters, Heartland Family Church was feeding the hungry people in our community. The response of donations from local grocery and retail organizations was so overwhelming that the church needed assistance with organization and logistics – two areas in which The Expo Group excels!
So several times per week, a 53’ trailer filled with pallets of food and water are brought to our warehouse so that volunteers can assemble boxes to be given to families in need. Gerry Hyzy, Director of Warehouse Operations, has been overseeing the project on behalf of The Expo Group, and several employees have been able to contribute to this effort.
The corporate office and warehouse at The Expo Group has been repurposed for charity opportunities on several occasions, and we are always happy to give to back to those in need.
