Level5 Events by The Expo Group teamed up with Virginia Tech to produce a successful 150 Year Anniversary celebration

Level5 Events by The Expo Group recently partnered with Virginia Tech in celebrating their Sesquicentennial anniversary.  The celebration event was the wrap up of their Ut Prosim weekend where new members and advance existing members are inducted into their Ut Prosim Society of Giving.

This event had over 800 people in attendance and took place in VT’s temporary Recreational Hall structure.  The Level 5 Events creative team completely transformed the athletics facility into a beautiful place to celebrate the university’s amazing accomplishments.

In addition to designing every detail of the celebration, Level5 Events was also responsible for providing all the audio/visual and lighting needs to provide the ultimate experience for the guests.

Level5 Events also curated multiple interactive Engagement Zones where guests could learn about VT’s Helmet Lab, research into Packaging and Systems Integration, understand VT’s emphasis on Coastal Studies, and learn how Neuroscience is about understanding stress, eating, and more.

Also making an appearance was the Virginia Tech color guard, multiple student speakers including, Rachel Baxter, the reigning women’s NCAA pole vault champion, and more.

In conjunction with the celebration, Virginia Tech announced they have surpassed their original campaign goal and extended the goal to $1.872B and ironically 1872 is the year of Virginia Tech’s founding.
