When people hear the term metaverse, it can mean so many different things. Some know it as an online destination for gaming with other like-minded gamers. Others see it as a portal to socialize via virtual reality in an out-worldly, sometimes bizarre online space. For the trade show, event, and exhibit industry, we, The Expo Group, see it as a tool to engage show attendees before and after a physical event to encourage connections, build relationships and offer brand opportunities for show organizers and exhibitors alike.
